The car has been garaged at Otaki all the time I have owned her(20+years).

She is a good “runner” and very original, but has fibreglass mudguards.

She has recently had a new battery and period correct fabric covered main cable.

She starts first time when I use her for weekend jaunts.

I am selling because I don’t have the time or resources to restore her, and I need the garage space.

I am told $45,000.00 is about her worth.

Just completed a full ground-up restoration, over a period of several years.  Bodywork and stunning new paint finish make this a very desirable and valuable motor vehicle.

It is immaculate throughout.

All parts have been sourced from MG in the UK.

Too many parts to list and would be easier to ask what has not been done.

Completely reconditioned engine, including pistons, bearings, rings etc.

Just 17,000 kilometers.

Only reason selling is I have replaced with an electric MG.

1. 5-speed transmission (Datsun 210 ) purchased in the US in a running car. The correct transmission for the Rivergate conversion. No Panel or tunnel modification needed.

2. Complete Rivergate 5 speed conversion kit including,Custom rear engine oil seal eliminates the nasty crankshaft oil leak they all have, 7/8" CNC Clutch slave cylinder and hose, plus Speedo adapter kit for 1.25 ratio used with 3.9 diff. and 1.750 diameter wheel and tire.
