Monthly Club Night on the last Wednesday (except December)

Club nights comprise a dinner at a local restaurant. Venues alternate between Wellington City, Hutt Valley, Tawa and Kapiti. Normal start time is around 6.00pm. See below for details of the next dinner. NOTE There will be no dinner in July, this is replaced by the AGM

Monthly Old Speckled Hen Runs

The OSH runs are a mid week run held normally on the last Thursday of each month. The run usually ends up at a place of interest, a café or a restaurant after a pleasant short, or sometimes longer drive over some unusual routes. More information and the timetable for the year can be found HERE Short runs are indicated by an asterisk (*) and longer runs by a plus sign (+)

Old Speckled Hen Run*

Termed “An Old Speckled Hen run for everyone” it includes the following:

  • a run in glorious countryside
  • morning coffee
  • a browse around Greytown shops
  • luncheon with excellent company
  • view Gary Wall’s stunning collection of largely Pre-War classic MG’s
  • afternoon tea and more shopping for the ladies in Martinborough

The details are:

Meet: 9.30am for a 9.45am departure

Where: Motukaraka Point Car Park – off Greys Rd

Destination: Initially to Featherstone for Coffee at the cafe by the Cheese Shop – then onto Greytown for pastoral retail therapy in the shops and time even to look at the Settlers Museum.

Lunch: 12.30pm at the Brasserie 74 at 74 Main St, Greytown with Gary and Heather Wall joining us. Parking also available at the rear of the Brasserie.

After Lunch Destination: 1.30pm leave for short drive to Gary’s workshop etc just outside the Martinborough township.

Home James: After additional PRT and afternoon tea in Martinborough.

Opening of Gabriel Heimler and Anna Proc's 'On the Road!' Art exhibition & Club Dinner

Venues: Southwards Car Museum, Otaihanga & The Salt & Wood Collective, Waikanae

Start Time: Opening 6.30 pm, dinner at 7:30pm.

Notes: There is no charge for entry into the Museum/Exhibition.
